Supplements

This is a collection of useful links intended as (totally optional) supplemental reading material to our discussions during meetings.  All links mentioned during that meeting and any additional, relevant resources can be found here.  Please check out our “Resources” page for organizations in which you can get involved, or that can help you if you are in trouble. Also be sure to check out the “Kinky Links” at the bottom of every page, which will take you to the best databases we know of for articles and information on a wide variety of topics.  As we discuss various topics, we may direct you to information on those websites here, but feel free to explore the whole site!  Note that we also have a lending library of supplemental materials for you to peruse at your leisure.  Just ask!  The catalog of these materials can be found on our “Library” page.

FetLife

Though there is a lot of information that can be gleaned from reading books or articles, one of the best resources is other people.  Sure, plenty of people have no idea what they’re talking about, so please be careful, but no book is nearly as useful as an expert, even if the book was written by an expert.  So, the first kinky link is to FetLife, which is essentially Facebook for kinksters.  You don’t have to be a kinkster to join, just please be respectful.  Ask the club officers during a meeting for our usernames, and we’ll gladly add you as friends!  Then you may browse discussion groups about topics that interest you, ask questions or simply read the responses to other people’s questions, and hopefully learn a lot!  Here’s the link: FetLife.com

BDSM and Spirituality

This site includes a wide variety of interesting topics, some of which are spiritual.  This site has very little to with kinky sex, but with the other aspect of BDSM, which is actually living an alternate lifestyle.  I recommend the “articles” section first.  Raven and Joshua have each contributed some very well-written articles describing their view of the world, and provide, among other things, an AWESOME example of a healthy Master/slave relationship, and also how their spirituality relates to that.   This topic may or may not ever be discussed in a meeting, depending on how many people express an interest, but if you are curious, here’s the link: paganbdsm.org
